LOGOS
We offer a variety of methods to customize your cards beyond just a line or two of personalization including
custom verses, custom artwork and logos. Even full color photos may be possible with some restrictions. In most cases,
1 color ink artwork is FREE when ordering 500 or more cards...for less than 500 cards, there may be only a $50 setup
charge. Always call to confirm your specific artwork charges.
- For custom verses, provide us either with completed artwork (see below) or simply the wording you desire. We can
create the verse from your wording with the appropriate spacing and appearance and proof it for your consideration
and approval.
- For custom artwork and/or logos, e-mail your files to artwork@snowgreetings.com, noting your PO number and Dealer name.
SUBMITTING ARTWORK
- Any line art, whether drawing or logo, should be sent in a vector (point-to-point) file as opposed to a raster (picture) file.
A raster/picture file such as a scan uses pixels to instead of actual lines to suggest an image. Jpeg files are especially
unacceptable because they are compressed files that leave out vital detail necessary to good reproduction.
- Scanned files MAY be useful if the scan is from an original (not reproduced) source and scanned at high resolution
(300-600 dpi).
- Files should be sent in one of the these formats: AI, EPS, TIF or PDF. Such files have those letters in the file name. For
example: SnowgreetingsLogo.ai
- For personalizations including signatures, please contact us. We can send a file with logos and personalizations
blocked out to which the signatures may then be added. Signatures should not run into other signatures or across the
border lines and should be signed firmly in black ink. Signatures should be mailed, not scanned and e-mailed.
- Two color (or more) logos should be sent in color and one piece. We prefer to do the separating of the colors.
- Artwork files that include a font must have the font created in outline. Fonts may change when seen on another computer.
This problem is avoided by creating the font in outline. Publishing software such as Illustrator®, InDesign® or CorelDraw®
have this feature.
- Art files attached to e-mail should contain only the art. Instructions or descriptions should be in the body of the message.
Any questions regarding your artwork send us an e-mail and attach the file.
